EARS Membership 2026-2027

NOTE: 24/7 unescorted Makerspace access is only processed after BOTH the purchase of Membership and completion of a mandatory Makerspace safety induction session. Any previous Makerspace or 3D printing privileges are deemed invalid and must be regained for the current year.

This membership is valid for Semester 1 and Semester 2 of the 2026-2027 academic year. Makerspace inductions are usually held every Wednesday during semester time at 5pm onwards in the Makerspace 18 AB 04. If you are not able to attend any of these sessions, please email us at: surreyears@union.surrey.ac.uk and we can arrange a suitable appointment.

1) Subject to completion of Makerspace induction, which takes place at least once per week on Wednesday 5pm in the Makerspace 18 AB 04. 2) Subject to proof of valid UK amateur radio Licence and completion of Radio Shack induction. 3) Subject to additional training and having active makerspace access.

This membership will be valid between Saturday 1 August to Saturday 31 July
