Course Reps are the link between students, the Students’ Union and the University. They listen to feedback from course mates, raise issues with staff and help make sure students’ views are heard.

The role is an excellent way to develop skills that can be useful beyond university, including improving your communication through taking part in Student Academic Partnership Forums for your course.

Nominations open on Monday 28 September and close at 17:00 on Friday 9 October. You can nominate yourself easily through the Your Elections portal! Just tell students why they should choose you as their Rep.

Voting then opens at 09:30 on Monday 12 October and closes at 17:00 on Friday 16 October.

So, if you’ve been thinking about putting yourself forward, now’s a good time to start thinking about what you’d like to bring to the role.
