An introduction to the events and support happening during DON'T WORRY SURREY!

You don’t need us to remind you that from Friday May 15th to Friday June 5th is the Semester 2 assessment period.
We know it is a time that can be really stressful and the pressure can feel all encompassing and its because of that we are running DON’T WORRY SURREY again!
DON’T WORRY SURREY is our campaign full of events and ways to get support with your academic work, help you relax and make sure that you are able to do your best in the assessment period.

We are running our usual academic advice and general support every day 10:00-16:00 via our usual ussu.advice@surrey.ac.uk / Contact the Union for Advice - Surrey Students' Union
There will be EC online quick queries daily, an in person drop in session in Manor Park Social on Tuesdays 12:00-15:00, a Vet School drop in on Wednesday 20th & 27th.
We can help advise about where to get academic support and help you explore Extenuating Circumstances, this is the process in the university that can get you an extension on coursework or deferral on exams – if you have a tough situation happening then please speak to us so we can help you navigate this assessment time, having other things in life happening shouldn’t stop you being able to complete your degree!
Ok so on to the fun stuff and the rumours are true! Alongside our famous dog therapy sessions we are going to be running some cat therapy sessions! (Both of these are limited and strictly ticketed in advance)
We have a Community Garden takeover, Mindfulness and Breathworks session, a sound bath session, ‘Union Creates’ craft sessions, Film nights, ‘Zenergy’ Online mindfulness session, ‘Surrey Weekends’ session running, a wellbeing walk and handing out snacks and other treats around campus and a few other surprise events!

We are going to be giving out ‘loyalty cards’ for DON’T WORRY SURREY events and if you attend 4 of our events and get your card stamped you will be able to enter into a prize draw for a an exciting mystery prize bundle (not just union or university branded freebies we promise!)
