You may have seen our previous article regarding international students being potentially eligible to receive a refund for overcharged visa fees.

• We asked students to let us know if they were able to get their refund, but instead we heard from many of you to say that actually, the Home Office was saying it was not possible and no refund will be given, with no specific reason. 
  
  
• We have since heard that a student has started a petition to ask the Government to review this decision, however they need to reach 10,000 signatures for this to happen. 
  
  
• This is where you come in! By signing the petition, you and your community can help international students feel heard, supported and potentially receive some financial relief from studying abroad.
   
• Please share within your community and also to any other students outside of Surrey who may be impacted too. If the petition hits 10,000 then your voices will be heard and hopefully lead to positive change!
