Semester 2 results are out today for graduating students and we wish you the best of luck!
For some of you though, it may be a disappointment or lead to some more uncertain outcomes. If that is you, please don't face it alone, come and speak to us in the Support Zone and one of our academic advisors can help you on next steps.
What is available for you:
- You can email us via ussu.advice@surrey.ac.uk and we’ll get back to you on the same day or 1 – 2 working days if we are exceptionally busy. You can also complete our online form on the website here to contact us.
- If you are on campus, you can also drop into the Students Union building and an advisor can speak with you if available. Please head to reception and the team can try to help you asap.
- The Students’ Union can support students with understanding their results, how to make an academic appeal if possible and/or any other queries regarding their next steps for the rest of the year with any possible outcomes. If you just need to read about Academic Appeals without an appointment then you can view our dedicated page here. Don't forget you have 10 working days to submit an appeal so you have time, try not to panic and if you're not sure, please get in touch.
- You may not need to appeal but are told you are taking resits. This will be in the Late Summer Assessment period from 10 - 21 August. The timetable for the resits should be released on Monday 27th July. Please reach out to us or to the Hive here if you cannot see anything on your Surrey Learn from that point, or have any further queries.
- There is also wider University support which you can read more on here if you need it.
- We wish you the best of luck today either way and please do reach out if you need us!
