-£70We are a welcoming team which develops players of every skill level.
We train in the pool at Surrey Sports Park three times per week with many matches throughout the year (both friendly and competitive) to allow as many members as possible to get time playing Water Polo.
You don’t need any experience with the sport to play with us, many of our team members have picked up Water Polo at university and now play on the 1st team so feel free to come and give it a try!
We also host a mix of sober and drinking socials every week. These range from themed nights to more relaxed pub outings to cater to everyone’s tastes.

Aims
Promote water polo as a fun, challenging, and rewarding sport at the University of Surrey. Encourage participation from beginners to experienced players through regular training and matches. Compete in BUCS and other leagues Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship both in and out of the pool. Create a welcoming, social atmosphere that strengthens the university’s sporting community
Existence
The Surrey University Water Polo Team exists to bring together students who enjoy playing water - whether socially or competitively - as well as those who enjoy swimming and team sports and want to try something new. We provide an inclusive environment for players of all abilities to develop their skills, stay active, and enjoy playing the sport. Beyond our training sessions, we foster a strong sense of community through weekly socials and collaborations with other sports societies
